(More customer reviews)This is the second time I have purchased this 5-pound bag of Larry's Beans Fair Trade Organic Coffee, Frenchy French, whole beans so I can grind them myself. Don't let the name throw you, it's not like a usual French roast, bitter with oily double-cracked beans. It's supremely smooth with a moderate intensity of flavor and no bitterness. I make a ball jar full by the drip method through a cone. I have a cup with honey and whole milk in the morning and the remainder gets cold; it's even smooth when cold! That's the sure sign of a great coffee -- it's when the professional coffee tasters sample their coffees, when they're cold. So don't hesitate on this one. Take it from someone who searches for the perfect cup of coffee, and has finally uncovered the great devise. That it's fair trade is an added bonus. Organic is essential! The foregoing is no exaggeration!
