Tried this at Supper 8 recently with lower expectations from a packet product after trying other brands. I was very pleasantly supprised with the rich flavor and taste of this product. Really worth a try if you looking for Pumkin spice year round or a off season option.

(More customer reviews)I discovered this coffee at the New Pioneer Co-Op in Iowa City, and had resigned myself to a reality where it was only available in utopianist college towns and direct from the roaster. Imagine my delight when I found out its not only available through Amazon, but Prime eligible. I'm not kidding when I say this is some of the best news I've gotten in weeks, because this coffee is beyond awesome.
Packed with flavor, but not overpowering - brimming with caffeine as advertised - this is quite possibly the best coffee in the universe. Bright, bold, strong. I have long fantasized about driving to Alaska just to see where this stuff is made... it is pilgrimage worthy, even from the lower 48.
Six stars.

(More customer reviews)I bought this coffee after trying three different varieties of the Bean Coffee Co. coffee through Groupon. I found I liked the El Grano Ricco the best so I ordered this 5 lb bag and I am not disappointed. I used to only drink a couple of cups a day but now I drink more since I like this taste so much. Once I open the big bag, I put the balance in zip lock bags and keep them in the freezer until I need them. I highly recommend this coffee especially at this price.

(More customer reviews)Wow is all I can say!! I usually do not even drink flavored coffees and actually ordered this by mistake. My wife had already set the coffee pot on auto filled with this coffee before I even realized. I woke up and smelled the aroma and it made my day. It is really just top quality coffed with an essence of very good hazlenut, not really hazlenut flavored. I would recommend it to everybody, even those like me who are more coffee purists. What a great surprise. We used it all and had to change our subscription to ship more often.

I discovered The Bean at Coachella this past April, and I have to say that this is a coffee saver for me! The low acid/antioxidant mix is exactly what I needed. I can now enjoy coffee again, without the nasty stomach side effects. If you have ever suffered from the same symptoms due to coffee, you might want to try this brand. The Hawaiian Hazelnut is precisely the blend I usually drink, so I am thrilled that the Bean has introduced it. I highly recommend it!

(More customer reviews)I purchased this cofee because I have already been using the NON-Organic Aloha Bean Coffee from this same company.
Unlike the NON-Organic Aloha version this Organic coffee did not taste like it was naturally flavored but tainted with something artificial in the flavoring.
I cannot put my finger on it but it just does not taste like other good quality organic coffees I have used over the years and use daily now.
Also, there is a strange after-taste ... kind of like an oily and bitter taste on the palate (similar to non-dairy creamers)and not sure what that is about either?
I gave this coffee a 3 star rating because it is better than many way overly strong and synthetic tasting Hazlenut Coffees but far below expectation after having their NON-Organic version!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COFFEE TO ANYONE!

(More customer reviews)I am a coffee lover. Many will not enjoy these bold flavors, but Raven's Brew coffees are exceptional. They are never bitter, have a smooth finish. Savored this coffee when I first had it on business a long while ago in the northwest. Since then, I randomly order it from Raven's Brew Coffees on line. I like all their coffees, and only wish I could pick them up locally. I like their funky philosphies too, and their website is fun for the eyes. I also wish the company would bring back their long sleeve t-shirts with the Served in Bed Wakes up the Dead (something like that, don't quote me!)logo of the Skeleton drinking coffee. My husband has the 3- Peckered Billy Goat T shirt too. Their whole culture is fun & I wish there was something fun & funky like that around these Connecticut Yankee hills!Definistely WORTH the price!

(More customer reviews)I am a hard core coffee lover, but have been having trouble with the caffeine so have decided to to try and find a good decaf. I thought this might be the one but I was sorely let down. The coffee smells pretty good but once brewed it has a very bitter slightly acidic after taste. I even tried mixing it half and half with my other coffee but could STILL taste the bitterness. Needless to say I have it sitting on my shelf and neither my sister nor I will be drinking it.

It most reminds me of Sumatran coffee with its heavy body and full, earthy flavor, but with a bit of fruitiness reminiscent of African coffee and a cocoa flavor reminiscent of many South American coffees. It's very smooth and low in acid, perfect for people who want an easy drinking coffee without sacrificing flavor. While I hesitate to buy coffee online without any guarantee of freshness, this coffee tasted very fresh on arrival.

Price was the deciding factor. I got a better price with a different order of 'eight o'clock' mocha per pound via the subscribe and save subscription when a special discount was being offered. I would not have reordered this java mocha via the subscribe and save subscription if I had the opportunity first to order the 'eight o'clock' mocha via the subscribe and save subscription when a special discount was being offered. I prefer mocha more than java mocha. Java mocha is good while straight mocha is better tasting for my preferences.
