They all tasted like brown water or worse. THEN I discovered The Bean Company El Grano Suave My oh MY! My house once again smells like coffee and my mornings are back to normal! It really is delicious. And when friends come by I can still ask them if they'd like a cup of coffee and they never know it is low acid decaf! So, I am a dedicated fan. And also so glad it is now available on Amazon.com. One thing...I accidentally ordered the whole bean when I meant to order ground. Read the entire description carefully before placing your order and enjoy your mornings again!!!!!

(More customer reviews)I happen to suffer from migraines but love my tea, so breaking the chai habit was hard when I started to get sick. As you may or may not know, not all 'decaf' products are 100 percent decaffinated, which can be a problem for those like myself who can't have it and the percentage of caffine is high for a 'decaf' product. This chai, while not only tasting great, has never given me problems while most other 'decaf' varieties do. Great in the morning to get warmed up and get going, but also great for night time as there is no caffine to keep you up.

Vita Life Matcha (Green Tea Powder) Review

(More customer reviews)I have used this matcha daily for about 6 weeks now. It is very good for what I use it for. I make my own version of Starbucks Green Tea Frappuccino. (Once that drink name started to roll of my kids' tongues easily - I realized I was spending too much money on these drinks - and daily!)I am not familiar with various grades of matcha, but did not want something pre-sweetened or modified because I wanted to control the sugar, etc. I make my frappuccino like this: sorry - I do not measure - so you may have to modify these amounts because I am guessing!
1 1/2c milk
2 heaping spoonfuls (the spoon that's included) green tea powder
1/8c simple syrup (I make it myself and keep in fridge for week or so)
10+ice cubes (adjust to your taste - depends on size of cubes)
Blend this in a blender - longer than you think - pulse first then blend for a bit - I scrape down a bit bc the powder flies around a little and you don't want to lose any. (Simple syrup is 1c water, 1c sugar heated until sugar dissolves) It is much easier than it may sound - I make these daily in the morning. I hope this helps anyone else out there who is addicted to the GT Frappuccino - it is slightly different (I think they use a different gt powder and a honeydew syrup), but I liked mine MORE within the first week of having them!

I've been drinking Starbucks Double Shot to stay up to do work and decided to give Seattle's Best Iced Latte and Vanilla a try because they were a little less expensive and found that they're comparable in flavor, but are a little smoother maybe. I find them refreshing and convenient - I live close to a Starbucks (who doesn't, right?) but it's nice to have a quick, tasty pick-me-up in my fridge.

(More customer reviews)Out of all the T-disc choices available, the Maxwell House Latte and Cappuccino are my favorites. I initially tried the Maxwell House discs because of the signifcantly lower cost than the Gevalia Latte, and as an added bonus, found that I far preferred the taste as well. As a previous reviewer mentioned, for those who like a more robust coffee flavor, any of the Tassimo Lattes or Cappuccinos greatly benefit from using two espresso discs with one milk disc. This necessitates purchasing an additional package of 16 espresso discs to use with every two packages of Latte discs. When I first got my Tassimo a few years ago, Maxwell offered packages of standalone espresso discs; but these have sadly been discontinued, and the choices you are left with now (Gevalia and some other European brands) are all less robust and more expensive. That said, I use Gevalia espresso for my extra disc, and can attest that while each of the discs is brewing, the one that captures your attention with lovely coffee aroma is the Maxwell.

(More customer reviews)I bought several different brands of the Chai concentrate from Amazon, as there are few options in my rural area's grocery stores.
The Tazo Organic Chai is my favorite. It most closely matches that served by Starbucks. Only difference is it doesn't have the foam. I've been told it is what they use.
Tazo decaf is my second choice. Strangely, it is not as good as the Tazo Organic Chai... not as spicy, but OK for drinking in the evening.
The Oregon Chai Original is not as good in my opinion as the Tazo. It is missing something. Not enough cardamon or pepper or something.
The Oregon Chai Sugar-free was very disappointing. I was hoping there was a good sugar-free option out there as I'd like to avoid the daily calories from my Chai habit. It just takes like plain tea with mil in my opinion. It seems to mostly lack the complex, spicy flavor or the Tazo Chai. Not sure why that is. The sweetener should have no bearing on the other ingredients. I have been unable to find any suitable concentrated, sugar-free Chai tea options. Post if you find one.
